Formulate policies and regulations for ICT services.

Identify current and future ICT needs and recommend improvements.

Integrate ICT operations, hardware, operating systems, communications, applications and data processing.

Coordinate ICT-system implementation and advise senior managers.

Ensure reliable operation of the Institute's ICT infrastructure.

Assess external ICT contractors and advise the Executive Director.

Maintain service-level agreements with ICT system suppliers and vendors.

Plan preventive maintenance for equipment.

Coordinate computer-user training.

Design and implement computerized systems that improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Collect, summarize, interpret and maintain Institute statistics.

Compile periodic statistical reports for relevant authorities.

Support students and researchers from associated institutions.
